Hello fellow Visionaire Studio users, hobbyists, indie & commercial game developers. I would like to inform you of our latest competition, in which you could win the chance to have your competition entry, become the new official Demo Game that comes bundled with Visionaire Studio.

Hey, hey, hang on a minute, you say! but what about physical prizes?
Although we aren't giving away any physical prizes this time, I think this is still a great prize as it allows you to gain some exposure & is something you can add to your resume & development portfolio; besides it all just a bit of fun & can be considered as your way of contributing to the ever growing machine, that be: Visionaire Studio.

As we are wanting to include your submission as the official Visionaire Studio Demo Game; there will be a need to follow some semi-strict guidelines such as:

minimum of at least 3 complete scenes/rooms
at least one fully functional/animated character
a fully functional menu system containing: new/resume/quit game, some options & a save/load menu
the demo can be in either 2D or 3D & can be in either third or first person; we don't care as long as it looks good
a resolution of at least 1024x768 or higher would be preferred & if you could showcase some examples of Lua script at work in your competition entry, then all the better
there are no rules in regards to the storyline other than to keep it family friendly; in other words: no nudity or swearing
second most important rule: you must own all copyrights for the materials/resources you use in your demo or they must be made by yourself or development team
most important rule: please do not submit any Hidden Object games as they will be ignored!

You will have 3 months starting from (x date) to complete & submit your competition entry otherwise you will be disqualified from the competition. If the next release of Visionaire Studio is no where near being ready by the time the competition is nearly over; we may grant an extension on the allotted time mentioned above.
